We’ve been backpacking on tight budgets for a while, sleeping in a car for 6 weeks, taking freezing cold showers in New Zealand’s parking, waking up in a Melbourne burning hostel, and eating nothing but bread and peanut butter for 3 weeks. But now we both have settled jobs that finance our travels and allow us to try more comfortable experiences, like enjoying a 5 star hotel in Tokyo or flying over Heron Island on an exclusive helicopter. We want to share all of this through our blog: Ozawapi, an independent travel blog packed with photos and personal stories from around the world. We hope you will like it!
Ps: Ozawapi means “where are you?” in Lingala. Our friends asked us that question so many times that we thought it would be a nice touch :)
Our favorite restaurants: the Blue Pumpkin in Siem Reap and the New York grill in Shinjuku.
Our favorite rides: Bamboo train in Cambodia and Shinkansen in Japan.
Our favorite hikes: Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand and Machu Picchu in Peru.
Our favorite dinners: Collagen Shabu Shabu.
